Wedding, reunion or big trip: a 4-week skin prep timeline
The short answer
Start four weeks out if you can. Do your deeper cleansing early, keep the last treatment 3 to 7 days before the event, and do not try anything new in the final week.
The most common mistake before a big day is trying something new the week of the event. A little planning gives your skin time to settle and look its best.
The timeline
- 4 weeks outBook a HydroFacial to deep-clean and reset your skin. Tell your esthetician the date so they can plan the rest with you.
- 3 weeks outSettle into a simple routine: gentle cleanser, moisturizer, daily SPF. If you are working on your body, start your CryoSkin or Lipo Laser series now.
- 2 weeks outA Cryo Facial + LED or a Nano Facial, depending on whether you want a calmer, firmer look or deeper hydration.
- 3 to 7 days outYour final facial. Close enough to look fresh, far enough that skin has fully settled.
- Event weekNo new products, no new treatments. Sleep, water and SPF.
Short on time?
If the event is next week, one facial 3 to 7 days before still makes a visible difference. A Cryo Facial + LED is a popular choice because it leaves skin looking calm and refreshed right away.
For the day itself
- Moisturize well in the morning so makeup sits smoothly.
- Use SPF, especially for outdoor events in Florida sun.
- Keep a blotting sheet in your bag instead of adding more powder.
